I am extremely thankful to the opportunity I got at Mar Thoma College for Women, Perumbavoor, that shaped my rest of the life and career. At present I am a Scientist in nuclear fusion research and I realized my passion to pursue Physics started from the college. The Physics classes were extremely enlightening that it gave the confidence that even a normal student like me could do science as a hobby and later on I chose this as a career option. The college life had a great role in shaping us, and the values of hard work and resilience have helped in getting me through the thick and thin of the life.
My academic journey in Mar Thoma College for Women, Perumbavoor has been nothing short of incredible. In the lap of nature ,with the kindness of everything around me ,I found my true path. I am forever grateful for the memories and the solid foundation it gave me.
Thank you to my teachers for being so encouraging and doing everything they can to keep us motivated and supported throughout our program. Your knowledge and leadership provides us with a priceless model for our own careers. I am so happy for the best bunch of teachers!!
Mar Thoma College for Women, especially the Zoology department, gave me an incredible foundation through hands-on learning and supportive faculty. The experience shaped me both professionally and personally, giving me the confidence to chase my dreams. Now, as a Higher Secondary Zoology teacher, I’m honored to spark that same curiosity in my students.
My time at Marthoma College for Women (2015–2018), where I studied B.A. in History, Archaeology, and Museology, was transformative and enriching. The faculty's support and a collaborative learning environment fueled my passion for history and sharpened my analytical skills. Engaging in seminars and campus activities not only enhanced my academic journey but also boosted my confidence and leadership abilities. These experiences laid a strong foundation for my current pursuits in the UAE. Marthoma College remains a place where I discovered my potential and prepared for future opportunities.
If you ask me what Mar Thoma College for Women means to me, I will say it is the root from which I have grown. If the root was not strong enough, I would have just withered in the wind. I was able to develop the dancer in me from the college as it provided many platforms to showcase my talent. The support given by the teachers have always been a great source of inspiration for me. They have also helped me develop my organization skills as they have always held us together in the conduct of programs.
